They've enlisted the help of a 15-year-old federal office no one's heard of, or heretofore needed, to get their word out. Unfortunately, Dunklin moans, "they lack the power to levy fines or make arrests." (Darn it!!) ... This CSB is loaded with left-wing Obama-appointees who'll surely give The News the "lessons" it desires.

A Plea for Transparency, Editorial, p. 2P - "Lovey Howell" Willey's elitists float the notion that these scandals are out of poor Dear Leader's control, that he just needs to 'splain 'em better, that he has such a BIG job, and, after all, who hasn't a bad week? What crap. Imagine this anguished fretting for Rick Perry? LOL. ... What The News doesn't get -- or want you to get: the scandals aren't happening around Dear Leader -- they are Dear Leader. They're all part of his "transformation" of America.

*Melting pots working, schools, not so much, Steve Blow column, p. 1B - Fretful Stevie Blow attended a DMN-sponsored event with "800 lively and intellectually curious people[!]" -- "a kindred audience of interested and engaged citizens[!]" By that, Blow means they were liberals -- not ignorant, incurious conservatives. And in this particular case, it means they all agreed illegal immigrants are good for us and we need to spend more educating them. (Blow thought this newsworthy.) ... Odd, but the "intellectually curious" don't use the word "illegal." Somehow, the "interested and engaged" make no distinction between "illegal" and "legal" immigration. Hmmm. ... More Blow bilge: "We love being a nation of immigrants. We just always hate the latest immigrants." See how the issue is framed, friends? Laws, borders, civil society, public health concerns -- throw it all out. Just open your wallets, be "engaged" --- and love!!!!!

Let us ease back into this, kind readers.

Today, upon perusing The News' stilted view of the world, I noted:

*NOTHING on Benghazi.

*NOTHING on AP phone taps.

*NOTHING on criminal illegal immigrant releases.

*NOTHING on Houston's "house of horrors" abortion doctor.

*an IRS scandal story that implied it's nothing more than Republicans looking to make hay.

*another story that explained how "challenging" it is for IRS folks to do their jobs without targeting conservatives.

*a story on Texas' relatively strong economy that not once mentioned GOP-inspired low taxes, reasonable regs and pro-business climate as contributing factors -- but did mention "federal stimulus efforts."

*not one of Dear Leader Obama's scandals made The News' "Misses" in this week's Hit and Misses editorial -- but there was room for more Angelina Jolie swooning.

In short: same ol' rancid bias.
